Elizabeth White is a law student in our Taxation and Tax Dispute Resolution groups. She assists our team with its frequent seminars and monthly newsletters geared towards accountants and lawyers.
Elizabeth is a 2018 JD candidate at The University of Toronto, Faculty of Law. Her team, which represented the University of Toronto, Faculty of Law at the Bowman National Tax Moot, received the Best Team Award. She has also participated as a student volunteer with Pro Bono Student Canada's Tax Advocacy program, which works to produce information memos for frequently encountered tax issues for Canadians. Elizabeth heads both Out in Law and the Tax Law Society at the University of Toronto Faculty of Law.
Elizabeth holds an Honours Bachelor degree in Economics from the University of Toronto. While there, she earned a number of achievement awards including the Gordon Cressy Student Leadership Award and the Donald Dewees Undergraduate Award, for top performance in Economic Analysis of Law.
